Campbell Scientific provide a wide choice of sensors for measuring solar radiation including pyranometers, net radiometers and sunshine duration meters from various leading manufacturers.

Models include the low cost CS3000 silicon pyranometer which measures in the range of 300 to 1100 nanometers, covers most of the short range radiation reaching the earths surface. At the other end of the scale is the Hukseflux NR01, a four component net radiation sensor which monitors the incoming and outgoing short wave and long wave fluxes and is therefore widely usually used in energy balance studies.
