The Micro Rain Radar (MRR-2) is a vertical pointing Doppler Radar which derives precipitation parameters in a profile over the system. The MRR-2 enables high quality measurements of precipitation free of influence from wind, sea spray or surroundings. 
The Cloud radar MIRA 36 is a Doppler radar based on a magnetron transmitter which provides a pulse power of 30 kW with an excellent pulse shape for pulses as short as 100 ns. 
As extension for METEK SODAR systems the RASS extension provides information on the temperature structure in a vertical profile over the system.
