CIMEL
Electronique
developed low consumption Automatic
Weather Stations with 2 to 20 channels capacity, meeting the WMO
requirements. Depending
on the application field, the data exploitation is performed by MODEM
link, GSM,
local link to PC, memory
cards transfer,
radio, satellite...
Software
CimMet4 was developed for the acquisition and recording of files
(containing meteorological information) to a PC. There is a multitude
of plug-ins (PhytoClim, METAR, SYNOP, ImageSite, etc.) which allows
its use in meteorology, climatology, agriculture and aeronautics. The
software can be free downloaded. |

Davis Instruments Corp. |
Davis Instruments weather stations provide accurate and reliable weather data at an affordable price. The Davis Vantage Pro2™ and VantageVue™ weather stations wirelessly provide past and present weather information for viewing on their consoles. Weather variables including temperature, humidity, rainfall, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction and more are recorded and stored. The Vantage Pro2 stores data so you can graph the last 24 hours, days or months of readings or highs and lows and view over 80 graphs. The Vantage Vue includes the innovative Weather Center button that displays weather variables over the last 25 days and over 50 graphs. The WeatherLink® software can expand data collection and reporting and is sold separately. |

Degreane Horizon
France |
The
TP320 Present Weather Sensor was developed by Degreane Horizon
in the field of aeronautical applications according to ICAO and WMO
rules and regulations. It is a combination
a Degreane Horizon DF320 forward scatter sensor and a OTT Parsivel laser
based disdrometer. This solution using advanced and sophisticated
techniques of data fusion has been field proven on several airports.
TP320 can also be used for synoptic networks and road meteorology.
This sensor allows to characterize the most important concrete elements
of the “weather”. This consists on mainly detecting phenomenon due to
hydrometeors. |

Earth Networks previously WeatherBug Professional United States of America |
Earth
NetworksSM is the leader of global weather solutions. Earth
Networks operates the largest global weather information network of more than
8,000 weather observation stations worldwide, integrated with public source
weather information. Earth Networks also operates
the Earth
Networks Total Lightning Network™ (ENTLN), the first integrated wideband
lightning detection network delivering detection of both in-cloud (IC) and
cloud-to-ground (CG), or total lightning, strikes. Weather information is available through Earth Networks visualization tools such as the Earth Networks Online Weather Center, StreamerRT, and via API data feeds. |

MEISEI ELECTRIC
CO. LTD. |
The
all-in-one present weather identifier model TZE-9DP
automatically measures the present weather, visibility, precipitation
type, and precipitation intensity. The obtained data can then be sent to
a Personal Computer through serial port. The Present Weather Identifier:

METEK
GmbH |
Based
on the technique of the Micro
Rain Radar MRR-2 the PreWes-24
uses characteristics in the drop spectrum to distinguish between
various kinds of precipitation. The different falling velocities and
backscattering intensities of the particles allows identification of
all kinds of solid and liquid hydrometeors. Automatic weather stations, highway supervision and airport instrumentation represent the main fields of application. Beside the determination of the type of precipitation the PreWes-24 is also able to provide quantitative information on the precipitation. The profile measurement allows a calibration of wide scanning weather radars in the same volume (both items are options). |

OTT
Hydromet GmbH |
The OTT Parsivel is a modern, laser-based optical system for measuring all types of precipitation completely and reliably. Hydrometeors are differentiated and classified as drizzle, rain, sleet, hail, snow and mixed precipitation in 32 different size classes and 32 velocity classes. The present weather and the types of precipitation are classified in accordance with the weather codes established by the WMO. |

Pulsonic France |
Automatic weather station PULSIA or PULSIANE, developed by
PULSONIC, can be configured with a wide range of sensors to measure wind force
and direction, temperature, hygrometry, precipitations, moisture and many other
parameters. They are use in weather forecast, environmental security, new energies, agriculture… Data are stored in the central unit of the station and then transferred to a server or a computer through a GSM, RTC, or radio communication to be used in real time or as a data base. PULSIA III is used by weather forecast institutes as part of their global equipments to analyze and forecast weather in France and other countries.
