Radiometer Physics GmbH
(RPG) designs and manufacturers microwave radiometers for meteorological
applications. RPG has established several model types for weather and
climate observation, driving the technology to the current state-of-the
art. Humidity and temperature profiler (HATPRO) radiometers have become a standard equipment around the world. The radiometers produce highprecision boundary layer temperature profiles, humidity profiles, cloud liquid water path, integrated water vapour, and indices of atmospheric stability with high temporal resolution of up to 1 second. The dual polarization radiometers for rain observation and surface-emissivity measurements are un-rivalled in their development to turn-key systems, fully supported by operating software and retrieval systems. In addition, RPG has an extensive experience in space borne meteorological systems, which is benefiting the ground based instruments quality assurance programs. |
